Meet 3w Farm & Ranch Rescues

• 9-year-old Quarter horse | 16.1 Hands
• Rescued from a TX kill pen
• Sugar was our most emaciated arrival, had multiple broken ribs and suffering from pneumonia. We work with her daily to gain her trust and heal her heart. She is doing really well, see her progress in our photo gallery!

• 18-year-old Quarter horse | 15 Hands
• Rescued from a TX kill pen
• Boon was used as a roping horse, he had multiple puncture wounds on his legs that festered due to neglect, causing needed surgery to clean out the infection and the dirt inside the joint! Additionally, he was standing on the bone of his hooves which required extensive farrier care.  While he still requires skilled farrier services, orthopedic adjustments and gastrointestinal support medicine - he is on the road to recovery and healing more every day!

• 14-year-old Quarter horse | 14.5 Hands
• Rescued from a TX kill pen
• Molly was whipped above her hooves with the scars to prove it. She is sweet, loving and learning to trust our touch. 

• 8-year-old miniature horse
• Rescued from a TX kill pen
• Bandit is our newest rescue, he is settling in and responding well to antibiotics. Bandit is missing his left eye, but gets along just fine without it! Bandit needs a lot of 1on1 care to calm his anxious heart and trauma from the kill pen environment, yet he has quite the personality and is full of joy.

• Approximately 1-year old jack donkey
• Rescued from an east TX kill pen, just in time!!
• Everyone, meet Merle 🤎 His name comes from Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson’s song Poncho and Lefty— and since we already have donkeys named Willie, Poncho, and Lefty, it only felt right to complete the set🫏🫏🫏🫏 
• Merle is slowly starting to come around. He’s learning to trust us, eating well, and making progress every day 🤍 Right now, he’s staying by himself in a neighboring stall where he’ll quarantine for a few weeks to keep all of our animals safe.

 BIG NEWS ALERT YA'LL!" 

 Rocky found his forever home at the end of March — along with his best friend Molly, the stray black lab. That's right, from street buddies to forever‑home roommates… talk about a win-win, they are both living their “happily ever after” with a fantastic family who absolutely adores them already! 

We are so grateful 🤍 We know both of your lives will be filled with all the love, snuggles and care you deserve!
